Tour Plan

DAY 1: PHNOM PENH – ARRIVAL

Arrival in Phnom Penh. We welcome and transfer you to hotel. Rest of the day is your leisure time to explore the city on your own.

DAY 2: PHNOM PENH (B,L)

Morning, visit the notorious Choeung Ek Killing Fields & Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21 prison) which serve as a testament to the crimes of the Khmer Rouge (From 1975–1979. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Continue your visit at The National Museum with its superb collection of Khmer art. The last place to visit today is Wat Phnome, the most famous buddhist temple in Phnom Penh.

  • Choeung Ek Killing Fields, 15km southwest of Phnom Penh, is the site of brutal executions of more than 17,000 individuals, most of whom first suffered through interrogations, torture and deprivation in Toul Sleng Prison during Pol Pot regime (From 1975–1979).
  • Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21 prison). This prison was a high school, and used as a prison by Pol Pot’s security forces and became the largest center for detention and torture during the rule of the Khmer Rouge.

After that, visit to the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town. Visit the Silver Pagoda, located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles.

DAY 3: PHNOM PENH - KRATIE (B,L)

Head to Kampong Cham, soak in the scenery of rural Cambodia, drive through cashew nut plantations, rice fields, and traditional villages. Tour the town center before continuing to Wat Nokor. Afternoon, your leisure in the sleepy riverside town of Kratie. Enjoy a spectacular Mekong sunset.

DAY 4: EXPLORE ANGKOR THOM AND ANGKOR WAT (B,L,D)

In the morning, visit to the antique capital of Angkor Thom (literally: “Great City”), located in present day Cambodia, was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire. Continue your visit at the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.

Continue your visit to Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in Angkor. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Neak Pean, a fountain built in the middle of a pool (representing the paradisiacal Himalayan mountain-lake), Ta Som, built in late 12th century C.E. the most distant temple on the grand circuit, small but classic.

In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture.

 

 

Before ending the tour today, enjoy a wonderful sunset scenery from the Top of Phnom Bakhen Hill.

In the evening, enjoy a delicous dinner at a nice local restaurant in Seam Reap. Watch a Apsara dance show while dining. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.

DAY 5: BOAT TRIP ON TONLE SAP LAKE – DEPARTURE (B,L)

Morning, enjoy breakfast at hotel. Visit Angkor National Museum at 7.30am.

Angkor National Museum is an archaeological museum dedicated to the collection, preservation and presentation of Angkorian artifacts, also to provides information and education about art and culture of Khmer civilization, with collections mainly dated from Khmer Empire’s Angkor period circa 9th to 14th-century. Most of the artifacts are discovered in and around the Angkor archaeological sites nearby. The museum is located in Vithei Charles de Gaulle No. 968, Siem Reap, Cambodia, on the way between downtown Siem Reap to northern road leading to Angkor ancient city.

After that, take a boat trip for sight-seeing on Tonle Sap Lake, the Great Lake of Cambodia. It is one of the largest lakes in Asia. Here, enjoy a brief cruise past floating villages complete with schools, restaurants, and hospitals.

Transfer to Siem Reap airport for your departure flight.

Day 8: Arrival in Hanoi

Our driver welcomes you at airport and transfers you to hotel in Old Quarter area of Hanoi. Rest of the day is your leisure time for walking around and shopping.

Day 9: Hanoi – Halong bay (B,L,D)

In the morning, our guide comes to your hotel to pick you up for Halong bay. Arrival in Halong bay at 11.45pm. Get aboard and enjoy welcome drink, get a brief introduction about cruise and safety guidelines.

After checking-in your cabin, have lunch while Cruising through thousand amazing islands and islets in Halong bay. Following lunch, you may freshen up in your room before embarking on a visit to the Surprising Cave, kayaking, swimming, and other activities.

Sunset: Relax on boat and taking part in a cooking demonstration and food decor with Chef. Dinner is served aboard restaurant.

Night time: Join squid fishing with the crew members, sing karaoke or just laze around or relax in your cabin.

Day 10: Halong bay – Hanoi (B,L)

Early morning, risers can enjoy Taichi lesson on sundeck. Morning view of bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee then have breakfast at sunrise. After breakfast, visit a gorgeous cave in the bay – Amazing Cave (Sung Sot cave). Then going back to the boat and check out your cabin. The boat continue cruising through many islands while you are having lunch.

Disembark at 11.45. Going back to Hanoi.

Day 11: Hanoi city tour - Flight to Hoi An (B,L)

Morning, you will start the tour by visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Ho Chi Minh Museum. Enjoy the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-palace. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts where he used to live in the past. Lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda, built by King Ly Thai To in 1049 the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi.

Continue to visit the Temple of Literature (Quoc Tu Giam) – Vietnam’s first University constructed in 1070. Its gardens and well-preserved architecture offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past.

Have lunch at a local restaurant. Proceed to visit the Ethnology Museum. After that we will take you to Hoan Kiem Lake, see the peaceful water, and visit Ngoc Son Temple.

Day 12: Hoi An – Visit My Son Sanctuary (B,L)

At 8.00, Our guide picks you up at hotel and leave Hoi An for visiting My Son Holly Land – the ruins of Cham people and was an imperial city during Cham dynasty. Here you can have more chance to explore and understand of technique of Old Cham people in making red bricks to build Tower which still now a secret to everyone, you can see a large complex of religious relics that comprises more than 65 architectural works. It also surprises for those who are curious with architectural art.

In 1999, UNESCO labeled the Cham architecture in My Son as a World Cultural Heritage Site.

Afternoon, free at leisure to discover the city of Hoi An by foot.

Day 13: Hoi An – Free time (B)

Day 14: Hoi An → Da Nang (B)

Morning, enjoy breakfast at hotel. it’s your leisure time for walking around the Old Town for shopping and relax in Hoi An.

Afternoon, we transfer you Da Nang. Rest of the day is your leisure time at beach in Da Nang.

Day 15: Da Nang – Free time (B)

Enjoy breakfast at hotel. Spend your leisure time for relaxation at beach in Da Nang. You can also visit some famous places on your own and try local cuisine.

Day 16: Da Nang → Flight to Ho Chi Minh (B)

Morning, breakfast at hotel in Da Nang. Your leisure in Hue until we transfer you to airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh.
